The items listed below are universal to the needs of those charities that the "Will to Succeed" Foundation supports.  Donated items are carefully monitored and directed by the Foundation to those specific charities who will most benefit from them at any given time.  As well, contributors can specify that their donation specifically benefit a named charity or organization.

Cash donations are always welcome!
You can trust that 100% of the dollars you give will go to the initiative you specify!


Our Wish List

Please consider the following when making your donation:

 

New or gently used children's clothes in sizes to fit youngsters ages 0 to 15 
 
New or gently used clothing for women and men and older teenagers

New or gently used winter coats to fit youngsters ages 0 to 18, and adults

New underwear and socks to fit youngsters up to age 18, and adults

Disposable diapers, size 3 and up, and other essential items that cannot be purchased with food stamps 

Hygiene items for families: Toilet tissue, shampoo, bath soap, deodorant, laundry soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, dry-skin lotion, sponges, cleansers, dish-washing soap. (None of these items can be purchased with food stamps) 

Payless Shoes gift certificates in $20 increments. (Our children need shoes that fit) Other, similar type gift certificates are okay, too. 

New or gently used books for youngsters ages birth to 15, which will be given to children to take home, placed in classrooms or added to libraries identified as in need

New or gently used books for adults including adult fiction & non-fiction, romance, self-help, etc. are regularly dispensed at clinics and women's shelters.   

School text and resource books are also in demand and find appreciative hands and minds

Food for the food pantry: Peanut butter, meat, spaghetti sauce, pasta, hearty soups, jelly in plastic jars, cereal, boxed macaroni-and-cheese, applesauce in plastic jars (Non-perishable items that appeal to children are best) 

Used furniture and household items, especial1y beds, sheets and blankets 

Used washers, dryers, refrigerators, microwaves and stoves in working order 

Used computers in working order to be sent home with families that have school-age children 

New or used children's educational computer software 

Volunteers to: rock babies, read to preschoolers—talk to and play with children receiving speech therapy—tutor for school aged children— help parents who are studying for the GED—fix computers or appliances

 

  • Clothing items should be in "good" condition, not ragged, worn or soiled.
     

  • Thank you! ...for washing the items.
     

  • If it looks like it should go in the rag sack or trash can, then, it probably should...yours.
     

  • Thank you! ...for being selective.
     

  • Sorting the clothing according to size and sex is appreciated.  Packing in boxes is nice, but strong plastic bags are fine, too.
     

  • New books are appreciated.  Used books should be in "good" condition with pages and covers intact.  (Please, no pornography).
     

  • Toys, appliances, computer equipment, etc., should be clean and in "good" working order.  If it's broken and you can't fix it, neither can we...repairs are expensive. 
     

  • Thank you! ...for being considerate.
